LockN2019 is quickly approaching and we know the options are endless on where to stay.   Camping, glamping, hotels, or day passes.  What’s a music lover to do?  WELL……let us tell you the best possible place to stay, only five miles away, with the best possible pampering, property, people, breakfasts, and experience.  Don’t be fooled by the hotel guides that mention Lynchburg, Charlottesville, and AirBnB.  Those options are 30 minutes away and don’t offer the five star breakfasts that you’ll experience here at the Orchard House Bed and Breakfast.

We’ve owned the Orchard House Bed and Breakfast for three years now and this will be our fourth LockN experience.  We have to admit that this was not one of the previous owners’ favorite weeks.  They didn’t enjoy the late nights, musically inspired guests, requests for later breakfasts, nor partying around the pool.  We wanted to treat our LockN guests the way WE would want to be treated for such a fun occasion, and that has clearly been appreciated by our guests-who-have-become-friends.

One of our favorite LockN guest stories involved a couple who booked one of our nicest rooms for the five-day festival.  They admitted to us on the last morning that they had also booked a Glamper with a group of their friends from upstate New York.  As they described it:  they would say goodbye/goodnight to their friends each evening by walking into their front Glamper door, and walk right back to their back exit door, driving the short distance to our B and B.  They’d shower in their luxury bathroom, enjoy a great night’s sleep in their king-sized bed, enjoy a multi-course breakfast with us each morning, and then return to their LockN glamper.  They’d walk out each morning and greet their friends as if they’d been “glamping” all night long.  Their friends were none the wiser and they’d had the best possible LockN experience!!
