Steeped in history, our Inn has been a part of the Lovingston community since it was originally built in 1874 as the private home of a prestigious Virginia State Judge and, after three generations, renovated into the boutique Bed and Breakfast that you see today. Nestled in the heart of Lovingston, VA, every corner of the Orchard House B&B tells a story.
Relax in the comfy adirondack chairs gazing up at the endless skies, take a dip in the pool, stroll through our one-acre vineyard, relax in the gazebo, listen to the frogs chirping from the pond, watch for the beautiful birds that flit from one bird feeder to the next, or rock on the sprawling front porch while soaking up our amazing views of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

What a lovely place! A beautiful historic farmhouse converted into a cozy, comfortable B and B where the host, Sarah makes you feel like family.
We were spoilt with delicious home-cooked gourmet breakfasts which differed daily. The location is beautiful with vineyard, tree, and mountain views from the fire pit, and you feel like you are in the country while still conveniently close to shops and restaurants. We heartily recommend it!

We are so excited to announce that our farmhouse is now available for bookings! There are 3 bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom and a full kitchen and living room.
The Farmhouse was built in 1910 and has such sweet charm.
It is available for whole house rental or just individual rooms. All of our guests of course get all of the same amenities including our incredible multi-course breakfast in the Dahlia Dining room.

We got to host the most
incredible Valentine’s weekend!
We kicked it off on Friday night with a delicious 3- course dinner that we invited our guests to and opened up to local couples
We added so many fun details including these homemade heart-shaped croutons. Dinner was amazing and we finished it off with this chocolate mousse with homemade whip, chocolate shavings and raspberries.
Our weekend guests enjoyed treats throughout the weekend including croissant bake and french toast for breakfast and the most delicious white chocolate raspberry scones that I have ever made!
We loved getting to know our special guests and to hear a bit of each of their stories as they shared this weekend full of love with us at the Orchard House!

Imagine waking up here on Valentine’s morning with your significant other and you walk downstairs to a decadent three course breakfast served with the best locally, roasted coffee, then you explore the surrounding area full of wineries, breweries and quaint shops, and then return to the inn for a candlelit dinner to close out your romantic day.
