Ask yourself; what are the qualities of people that you would want in your life, and if the answer is authentic, genuine, and friendly then you have the owners of the Orchard House in mind. They define hospitality in how they treat their guest, and how accepted you feel as soon as you walk through the door. The rooms are very nice, clean, and comfortable, and the breakfast was great as well. The property is well maintained and has lots of space for walking, meditation, and just listening and watching nature. There are a number of things in the area to keep you busy as well. On a number scale from 1-10 I would have to say they are an 11.

This was a very lovely place to stay for our two nights in Nelson County. The orchard House is beautiful and we loved walking the grounds together looking for those cute bunnies. Our favorite spot to sit was on the front porch looking at the green hills and mountains of Virginia. Thank you for your hospitality, we will definitely be back!

My husband and I just spent our first anniversary at the Orchard House while we visited some local breweries! This was our first time at a B and B and it was a WONDERFUL experience! Deb and Mike are the new owners and from the moment we opened the door, they made us feel welcomed! You can tell they care so much about making sure all guests have a great time! Comfy beds, amazing breakfast, beautiful view, awesome people—we WILL be back!
