So just like that…one year has passed and we are new business owners with one whole year behind us!  What a perfect weekend it was to celebrate:  we had a group of 8 who was returning here for the third time (first time as guests of ours), and another group of 6 who was experiencing our place based on one couple’s recommendation.  It was the perfect combination.

We were so proud to give the check-in tour to the returning guests…and watch their faces in amazement as we gave the initial tour.  They loved the pond, the pond fountain, the vineyard, the grounds, the new event barn, the new fire pit, the new pool, the new wine tour van, the new decor.  It was especially fun to share what we’ve been up to with returning guests.

And then the new group came in:  3 of the most elite firefighters from Station 58 in Rochester, NY and their fabulous wives.   We could not have asked for a more solid group to rent our Farmhouse.  This fun group also took advantage of Mike’s Wine Tour, the fire pit, the pool, and even helped set up my beloved cement fountain before Sunday’s breakfast.

We served mimosas on Saturday morning in honor of our one-year anniversary.  But the real celebration was sharing what we’ve been up to with a returning group, and a somewhat new group.  Both left saying they will return ASAP, and that is definitely what makes us both so happy!
