Our adult kids love the fact that there is so much to do in Nelson County, home of our new adventure.  In fact, during a recent visit, our daughter asked:  “When do you think we’ll come to visit and you won’t have something new for us to explore?”  That answer, we hope, is NEVER!

Veritas Winery continues to be a not-new but always requested place to visit.  On our family bucket list for 2020 is to attend the Starry Nights concert series that Veritas offers each summer.  The dates have been published and the musicians are soon to follow!  Veritas has perfected this concert experience over time.  They offer three different tiers of dining options and experiences, and tickets are available (and encouraged) in advance and at the gate.  The dates are Saturdays:  June 13, July 11, and August 8, 5-11pm.

With Veritas located an easy 18 minutes from us at the Orchard House Bed and Breakfast,  it’s an easy choice on where to stay post-concert.  Even better news?  Arrangements can now easily be made in advance for Uber, Lyft, or a ride home.
