A relaxing two night stay and a leisurely tour of 4 local wineries with the safety and security of an experienced driver and knowledgeable winery guide. In addition, you will be driven to either the Devils Backbone Brewery, Wild Wolf Brewery or the Blue Mountain Brewery for dinner. The Orchard House provides you with the best price and added amenities to provide a touring experience you will not forget.

After a hardy breakfast at the Orchard House you will depart and head directly to the first winery. You'll have more time at each winery to take in all they have to offer with a picnic lunch provided. We will return you to the Orchard House about 3:00 pm.

Your chauffeur is Richard, the Innkeeper and owner of the Orchard House Bed and Breakfast. Also, as a vineyard owner, he will gladly chat about everything from planting to harvest, or if you like, the rich history of the Orchard House, built in 1874.

Feel free to ask the wine-makers and/or staff any questions you like.

Learn the history of Virginia wine-making and recent trends making Virginia a favorite choice among wine lovers.

Richard will be taking lots of pictures while you enjoy your wine tasting. A CD will be provided FREE of charge before you check out.

We will have chilled bottle water and light snacks available for your convenience.

Picnic Lunch at one of the wineries will be provided.

Tasting fees under Virginia ABC Laws cannot be provided by any tour service. Some of the Wineries on our tours will provide complimentary tastings. Otherwise these fees are the responsibility of the individual purchaser.

Serving of Alcoholic Beverages: The management of the Orchard House Bed and Breakfast takes drinking and driving as a serious responsibility and request that all guests do the same. We will require all room occupants to provide proper identification at time of check-in when alcohol is provided as part of a package or event. In accordance with Virginia state law, alcoholic beverages provided by the Orchard House Bed and Breakfast must be consumed on the property. The management of the Orchard House Bed and Breakfast may at anytime at our discretion refuse to serve anyone alcohol.
